Sam the Cooking Guy Ever on Today Show Again

by Michael Y. Park

Last week, Sam the Cooking Guy pretty much guaranteed that he won't be showing upwardly on morning time Telly again someday soon when he forcefully told hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb to shut up. Information technology'due south one of the most awkward (and entertaining) moments in recent Today Bear witness memory.

Sam came on to do a segment almost making good for you meals on a budget, only can't even brainstorm his sit-in because of Gifford's and Kotb's incessant chatter. His reaction isn't exactly classy (can you imagine Tanya Steel, Megan or any other Epi folks doing anything remotely like during one of their appearances?), but I must admit that most of me is rooting for Sam on this one. If I were in his place, I know I'd at least exist tempted to tell them to hush up.

The prune'southward starting to generate a lot of Internet buzz, and it looks like most people side with Sam. What do you all think?

(Past the way, is anyone interested in starting a fund to convince Tanya or Megan to do the same thing on their side by side Today Show spot? What do you recollect it'd take? A year'south supply of pineapples? A brand-new Viking range? Taco Bell coupons?)

Wow!!!
I have never seen or heard anything quite so strange. Kathy Lee Gifford is quite chatty, and the other young woman, seems to be more, no none sense type of person, and I'm not certain the ii (2) of them have great chemistry.

Every bit far as the guest, I recall he could've been a lot more than gracious near the whole thing.

He plainly, is a control freak, and doesn't like to be told what to exercise, especially by ii (ii) women. I meet all kinds of issues this guy has, on pinnacle of being a rude obnoxious big-headed you know what.

He could've have merely said, "what did your mother tell you about talking too much?"

He lost his absurd over something then small, I would hate to see how he behaves on the road.

I can totally understand how that happen -
1. he's probably used to being master of the domain in the kitchen....
two.speaking from experience, being on Telly is extremely nervus wracking. You lot have a very short fourth dimension period to become it all in and yous rehearse and rehearse so you don't sound like a blithering idiot - I count on the hosts helping me through it, not basically sabotaging me, which is what KL is truly doing.

But he didn't handle it well.....bad form from all 3 of them.

What absolulely astonishes me is that so many people disregard such rudeness. Okay, the hosts were talking. It'south THEIR Testify!!!! Was it rude of them? I think so, yeah. Merely how does information technology brand anything alright to return rudeness for rudeness? It solves nil except to allow pocket-size-minded people to sit around saying "Practiced for him!". Please. The homo was inexcusably rude. Two wrongs never have and never will make a right. This was a cooking segment, people! If he were offering life-saving information, then an outburst may have been understandable. Simply a cooking segment??? Really...

Saw the original circulate. He started flustered. Remember him proverb there was suppose to be someone there to help him set and they didn't show up. I'd be p'd as well.

Good for him. I really caught myself saying "shut upwardly!" at the boob tube one morning time when these 2 were double-teaming someone during a segment. It was frustrating and obnoxious to watch. So...I quit watching.

Saw the video...Hoorah for Sam. These 2 ladies talk too much and Kathy Lee is not funny.

NorthNaplesCondo, the focus of the segment was fast, cheap, succulent food... not "amazing"... Just designed to get people thinking about using stuff they probably already take (hence the cup o' noodles being stir fried with the beef)...

I don't picket this prove, but just from this prune I would say the two broadcasters seem to exist competing with each other. Perhaps for the almost clever and quick witty-banter title? It would have been better if he had swiveled his caput between them and said something quick and chirpy like "oo so many questions!" and and so just waited for them to look at him to begin. It conspicuously frazzled him that they took what he said and then seriously (as they should have) and and then the whole segment was ruined every bit the focus was not on the food. And um . . . I just had a greek salad with tuna the other day. Is that supposed to be something new and amzazing?

I can't stand chatterboxes, especially Kathie Lee Gifford and her dribble! Thanks Sam for telling the ladies to zip information technology!

Hell, I've wanted to tell Kathy Lee Gifford to close upward for years.

Maybe Sam wasn't the smoothest he could have been. He should make overnice and ship each of the overbearing harpies a really large, really rich, really over-the-pinnacle dessert. (And promise it goes straight to their thighs.)

I take to second the other affiche, that guy is absolutely my hero. And I thought he was pretty funny with his follow up comments as well. I take never watched morning tv on purpose but have had the misfortune of seeing it in airports etc, it's totally excruciating. Just unbearable. Way TO GO!!!

My ex used to watch these horrible forenoon shows. I tin can't tell you how many times I wanted to yell at the horrible hosts.

he's the guest. They invited him there to nowadays. If they didn't want to really give him the chance to present, then why did they bother inviting him? He has a few seconds to go his ideas across and them interrupting him doesn't exactly aid him in doing that.
